Fundraising is an integral part of Netball Alberta. Without these Fundraising events and activities we could not provide the many opportunities to all our members. CURRENT INITIATIVES
GROCERY CARD FUNDRAISERS
This year we are expanding the Grocery Card programme as we feel that this fundraiser offers the best results for our efforts. The great thing about this programme is that you are not required to spend money on purchases that you don’t really need or want! We all need groceries, so why not purchase grocery cards through Netball Alberta, and raise money for NA at the same time? As well, you don’t have to sell anything to friends, family or co-workers – although of course you can! We may offer other fundraisers later in the season, but this will be our major effort.
HUSKY GAS CARD FUNDRAISER
Do you buy your gas from Husky/Mohawk? If so, you could help Netball Alberta raise funds without it costing you any time or money, other than what you are already spending on gas! We have Husky Cards available that you just present when paying for gas and Netball Alberta would earn 2% of the sale. Please contact secretary@netballalberta.com to obtain a card.
CASINO
Our largest fundraising event is the casino night which runs once every 18 months. This year's casino night was held in September 2010. Thank you to everyone who volunteered!
