Canadian Team announced - Two Alberta players selected as reserves
The Canadian Netball team will head to Singapore in November-December 2009 to compete in the 6 Nations Tournament. This is the third time that Canada competed in the tournament. Click here to view full team list.
Alberta 16/U win gold at USANA Nationals
Alberta's rising stars claimed gold on both days at the USANA Nationals in Seattle (June 12-14). The Open Alberta team came away with silver on day one and bronze on day two.
The Open team played the American U/21 team and won convincingly. The Flying Eagles will be heading to the Cook Islands later this year to compete in the World U/21 Championships. Read More...

Alberta sends two teams to US Nationals
Netball Alberta is sending an U/16 team and an Open team to the USANA Nationals in Seattle the weekend of June 12-14. The Open Team is hoping to capture gold after narrowly missing out last year. This is the first time Alberta has sent an U/16 team and everyone is looking forward to the experience to develop their skills against different opposition. U/18's win Nationals for third year running, U/23's finish second
The Alberta U/18 team has won the Canadian Nationl Netbal Championship for the third year in a row. The U/23 team fought off Ontario and Quebec to place 2nd in the tournament.

Alberta U/18 and U/23's will head to the University of Toronto in Oshawa this weekend to compete in the 35th Canadian National Netball Championships. The U/18 team is going for gold for the third year in a row while the U/23 team is hoping to upset by winning their first gold ... news release

Netball Canada withdraws Canadian U/21 team from worlds
Netball Canada has made the decision to withdraw the Canadian U/21 team from the World Championships being held this year in the Cook Islands. Netball Alberta President, Paula MacWilliam and Executive Director, Liz Daubney, were selected as coach and manager respectively.
