Structure
Alberta Netball Association (ANA), colloquially known as Netball Alberta, is a not-for-profit sporting association with the Executive based in Calgary, Alberta, and leagues based in Calgary and Edmonton. Netball Alberta facilitates netball activities and school clinics through the province.

Governance
ANA provides comprehensive leadership that represents the perspectives and needs of each of the netball programs within Alberta, focused on the development and promotion of the sport of netball in the province of Alberta. Following the Societies Act of Alberta, we govern using an elected board decided by the membership. |
Development
ANA focuses on the continual development of players, coaches, and umpires within the province, with the goal of increasing the the quality and skill of individuals and our programs as a whole. We do this by providing regular training opportunities and investing in the training of our coaches and umpires. |

Provincial Teams
ANA selects Alberta provincial teams comprised of players, coaches, and team managers from across Alberta, selected on a fair and comprehensive trial basis. These teams, who represent the highest level of play in the province, are assembled to compete at regional, national, and international level competitions. |
Opportunity
ANA focuses on providing regular, high-quality opportunities for players to compete both within and outside of the province of Alberta. Regular competitions are developed or identified for players across various age groups and skill levels. |
Our Objectives
- To promote and encourage the sport of Netball in Alberta;
- To facilitate the exchange of information and ideas on matters affecting the sport of Netball and related subjects;
- To promote education and development within the sport of Netball, sponsoring and holding clinics and classes in connection with all aspects of the sport of Netball;
- To print, publish, sell, lend, collect and distribute information on the sport of Netball;
- To raise funds for the purposes of the Association and to make, institute and establish grants, rewards or other benefactions to encourage or facilitate participation, excellence or other worthy purposes in connection with the sport of Netball;
- To organize and conduct competitions and exhibitions of the sport of Netball;
- To associate and to affiliate with any association, organization, (incorporated or unincorporated) with aims the same as or similar to the aims of ANA; and
- To do all such other lawful things as may be incidental to or deemed conducive of the aims of Netball Alberta.
